Admissions

The institute offers the Post-Graduate Certificate in Microfinance Management (PGCM).  The Programmes will commence on 2nd October 2009. The procedure for admission of students is discussed below.

Intake

The School will admit 60 students in PGCM Programme.

Eligibility

Any graduate is eligible for this Programme. Those who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before December 01, 2009 can also apply. People having work experience in the civil society organizations will be preferred.

Selection Criteria

Based on the candidate’s graduation score and inclination towards work in the sector, the participants will be participated. The short listed candidate’s will be invited for essay writing, group discussions and personal interview by the Institute’s professors. Merit list of candidates will be prepared based on their scores in essay writing, group discussions and personal interview and academic achievement.

Admission Procedure

Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission offer letter containing the terms and condition of the admission. For the offer to be valid, the selected candidates, after going through the contents of admission offer letter, need to confirm and accept the offer with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the programme through “Acceptance Letter” along with a demand draft for Rs. 10,000/- favouring “HDF School of Management”, payable at Bhubaneswar towards the admission fees. The admission fees so deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances. All the candidates who have been offered admission have to pay the fees as stipulated in the admission offer otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.
